MW Halloween Show Coming Your Way!
OUR HALLOWEEN MUSIC FESTIVAL AND COSTUME CONTEST
Saturday, October 29th 2022
at the Saturday Club in Wayne
117 W. WAYNE AVE, WAYNE, PA
WHAT:
A Main Line tradition, each year enthusiastic (and adorable) musicians dress up in costume to perform their favorite spooky songs for friends, family and fans. These whimsical shows are as diverse as the costumes – songs range from slightly spooky to totally silly, including both popular and original pieces. ("Peter Pumpkin Plays Ping Pong," anyone?)
WHO:
This freaky (not too spooky) event is held each October and stars our dainty fairies, ghoulish ghosts, astronauts, witches and more! In 2012, the popular show outgrew its home of Milkboy Coffee and moved to our beloved YES venue, the Saturday Club in Wayne.
This show is specifically designed for our beginner to intermediate students, to ensure that they have an inspiring start to their journey of music making. Piano students can play on a magical keyboard, conjuring sounds like twinkling bells and haunting strings. Vocalists, violinists and budding guitar players will also show off their musical (if not magical abilities) as they perform their favorite songs as their favorite characters.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Talk to your teacher today about participating.
Halloween piece preparation begins in the summer and most students will need to have a piece chosen before September!
Missed out on summer lessons and still want in? Reach out to your teacher or talk to our team about being ready to go.
Whether you’re conducting or clapping, we hope to see you at our next magical event!
