Beginning Voice Lessons
Beginning online voice lessons start off by creating a positive relationship with the voice and ensuring that you sound musical right away. Our talented online singing teachers apply a modern twist on the basics - encouraging you to playfully explore while learning modern or classical songs that you enjoy, and reinforcing technique by playing dozens of skill drill games.
All online voice and musical theater students have the opportunity to perform in Create-palooza - a music video contest, Online Open Mics, Music Film Festivals, Live Watch Parties, Song Contests, Online Song Shares and Student Forums. Local students are invited to attend our creative community's in-person events on the Main Line- From small groups in our First Friday Open Mic, Songwriters Open Mic or Music Lab Groups to larger gatherings like The Y.E.S. (Year End Shows) or the quirky, fun Annual Halloween Show, which are held at Main Line locations convenient to Havertown.
Intermediate and Advanced Voice Lessons
Intermediate and advanced voice students can get more in depth with singing musical styles or composers that inspire them. Our teaching team has quite a few members with advanced degrees in music theatre, jazz, classical and popular styles of music who expertly guide advanced students through their musical studies. You will continue to learn technique and theory with your voice teacher while performing music you love. You will also be coached and encouraged to create your own “innovations” on the pieces you learn, as well as write your own songs.
Voice students – depending on practice and progress – have opportunities to perform in Music Theater showcases at the Year End Concerts, as well as the prestigious Songwriters Showcase and the Annual Halloween Show, all held at Main Line locations convenient to Havertown.

The Meridee Winters school seeks out the best applicants possible, by directing our job postings to creative, enthusiastic musicians. On average only ten percent of applicants get an interview, with even fewer being offered positions on our staff.
